New Podcasts on Junior Instructor Program + Family Private Lessons

Two new First Chair podcasts discuss how to introduce younger skiers and riders to a career in snowsports instruction, and how to host a successful lesson for an entire family while catering to different abilities and disciplines.

Meet Katie, an Alpine Level I Instructor at Whitetail Resort

In this First Chair podcast Katie Chong talks about how she got started as an instructor. In middle school, she joined the ski team for a year and then, towards the end of the season, she joined Whitetail’s Junior Instructor Program, which inspired her to get her Level I certification when she turned 16 last year. She went through her certification with her Dad too. Learn more about Katie in the Winter issue of 32 Degrees Magazine.
