Where is your home mountain?
Mount Snow, Vermont
Describe a teaching or learning experience that sticks out in your mind.
At National Academy in Big Sky, Montana, my group rode to a new area of the mountain and the terrain looked more extreme than it really was. The group had been building off each other’s energy for the previous few days – and when they saw the new terrain that looked intimidating, they worked together to support each other and successfully descend it after initially thinking it wasn’t possible. It was a testament to how much the AASI community supports each other.
