Mt. Hood Academy is a winter-term boarding school for athletes who pursue the highest levels possible without parents taking a second mortgage on the house or shipping their child across the country. Without bright shiny objects our marketing department struggles in selling fundamental skill development, naturally injected training slopes, a human performance lab consisting of a squat rack and weights in the basement, lots of hard work, commitment and integrity. Interested applicants can expect to work in a small team environment where we aim to maximize our resources and impact each individual athlete’s wellbeing while taking the job, but not ourselves too seriously.
North West Living:
The greater Mt. Hood Area (including Hood River, Portland, and Government Camp) has great housing options and has much to offer in terms of recreation, affordability, social justice protesting, and quality of life.
