PSIA-AASI Announces Partnership with Sidas and Therm-ic
To Provide Instructors Access to Sport-Specific Socks, Insoles, and Thermoregulation Products
LAKEWOOD, Colo. (Dec. 6, 2022) – The Professional Ski Instructors of America and American Association of Snowboard Instructors (PSIA-AASI) recently partnered with Sidas and Therm-ic to give its members special access to sport-specific insoles, performance socks, and temperature control products including boot heater kits.
“Ski and snowboard instructors serve as the backbone of our industry. Every season, they spend hundreds of hours on the hill introducing people to the world of skiing and snowboarding,” said Sidas and Therm-ic Marketing and Partnerships Manager Kelsey Lefley, “We are excited to make instructors’ days on snow more comfortable with our performance products.”
Sidas makes sport-specific custom and drop-in insoles, including insoles and socks specifically for skiers and riders. Sidas’ snowsports socks integrate a strategically placed grip yarn zone to minimize movement and increase traction on the insole of the boot to add support and increase biomechanics and performance.
Therm-ic makes thermoregulation products – including socks that use heating elements below and on top of the toes, and boot heater kits with paper thin and flexible heating elements – to keep users comfortable during cold days. Some Therm-ic heated products feature Bluetooth battery options for an innovative yet intuitive experience that lets users control the temperature of their heated socks, boot heaters, and vests from their phone.
