Adaptive Education Track Scholarship

This scholarship program awards members and non-members with funds to pursue an adaptive certification education track. These scholarships help offset expenses related to preparing for and attending an adaptive certification.
Certification or Specialist Education Track Scholarship
This scholarship program awards members and non-members with funds to pursue a certification or specialist education track. These scholarships help offset expenses related to preparing for and attending a certification or specialist credential during the season. This scholarship will help individuals become a better teacher by pursuing education to help them achieve the standard for personal performance, teaching, professional knowledge, and technical skiing and riding skills. Recipients can also deepen their knowledge base by attending an event to improve their skiing, riding and teaching by participating in education events and clinics taught by extraordinary clinicians.
Nancy Oakes Hall Women’s Scholarship
Founded by former PSIA Alpine Team Member (1992-96) Nancy Oakes Hall, this scholarship enables women in PSIA-AASI to advance their skills and seek leadership roles in the industry. The program awards three separate scholarships each season. One scholarship covers attendance at PSIA-AASI’s National Academy; another covers attendance at the Women’s Summit; and the third helps offset expenses related to attending a PSIA-AASI education event.
Small Snowsports School Scholarships
This scholarship will provide small snowsports schools across the country, who are PSIA-AASI Member Schools, with access to educational events and education leaders, such as PSIA-AASI National Team members, who provide experiences that may be career-changing. Small schools are training the future leaders of our industry to make the commitment to educate the public about skiing and snowboarding.
Veteran Workforce and Education Track Scholarship
In partnership with the 10th Mountain Division Foundation, this scholarship program awards active and non-active military PSIA-AASI members and non-PSIA-AASI members with an education opportunity that supports veterans as they transition to and pursue a career pathway in the outdoor industry.
PSIA-AASI & Women of Winter Scholarship
In partnership with Women of Winter (WoW), this scholarship program awards female Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) with an inclusive education opportunity that will encourage and support BIPOC women to pursue opportunities to teach skiing or snowboarding.

Central Region
Eastern Region
Each year, generous donations from members and sponsors to the PSIA-E Education Foundation make more than 100 scholarships available for members who wish to further their education or certification status within PSIA-AASI. Intermountain Region

Northwest Region
Any Northwest member in good standing for at least two continuous seasons is eligible to apply for an event registration fee or NW bookstore scholarship. Each season, applications are due on December 15. Learn more about Northwest’s scholarship application process here.
Rocky Mountain Region

Western Region
The Western Education Foundation provides financial support for events, programs, and projects as well as scholarships for individuals involved in snowsports instruction.
Who may apply: PSIA-AASI Western members in good standing who teach for a snowsports school. Applicants must be a member prior to applying. The Western Education Foundation does not award money for annual membership dues. Learn about Western’s scholarship application process here.
