Level Up Your Energy Game with December Nutrition Webinar
Want to find out how you can stay fit, well-fed, and on top of your instruction game both physically and mentally? Register now for the December “Nutrition Workshop: Fueling for the Mountain” webinar to get all the best healthy eating details.
As ski and snowboard instructors, we are pros at making sure our clients’ needs are met, but often ignore our own. In this webinar, you’ll learn why nutrition is so important for keeping energy levels high during your workday, what foods to focus on, and how fueling properly can help prevent burnout — even through the busy, holiday work stretches.
During this webinar, on Tuesday, Dec. 5, at 6 p.m. MT, Makayla Meixner, a registered sports dietitian who holds a master of science in nutrition from Central Michigan University, will provide you with a step-by-step guide to fueling for the mountain, complete with easy meal and pocket snack ideas for instructors. At three key times during the webinar, you will review meal/snack options in the workbook (or come up with your own) and select what you plan to eat before, during, and after a day on the mountain.
These review sessions are a great time to ask questions about each section of the webinar (fueling before, fueling during, fueling after). Additionally, there will be 30 minutes at the end for open Q&A.
