The 100K Vertical Challenge Is Back!
Ready to see how much vertical you can ski and snowboard this January? Hit your goals and you could win some sweet prizes from some of PSIA-AASI’s Official Suppliers.
Once again, PSIA-AASI and Slopes are collaborating on the 100k Vertical Challenge. If you ski or ride 100,000 feet during the month of January and track your progress on the Slopes app, you’ll receive a Slopes Premium Annual Pass!
The individual who achieves the most vertical feet – skiing or riding – by the end of the competition, Wednesday, Jan. 31, will receive a free pair of skis from PSIA-AASI Official Supplier Atomic.
The challenge will kick off Tuesday, Jan. 2, just in time for you to start racking up your personal vertical limit. Keep an eye out for these exciting weekly challenges:
- Here for the Long Run (Jan. 2-8): Longest run measured in feet (without stopping) this week. Winner brings home a Competition Pro bag from PSIA-AASI Official Supplier Transpack.
- My Life Is a Lift Ride (Jan. 9-15): Ride the most lifts during this week. Winner will receive a Basecamp Duffle from PSIA-AASI Official Supplier The North Face.
- Social Butterfly (Jan. 16-22): Ski or ride with the most Slopes users this week. Winner will receive a Ventrix jacket from PSIA-AASI Official Supplier The North Face.
- Runs, Forrest. Runs! (Jan. 23-29): Ski or ride the most number of runs during this week. Winner secures a pair of goggles from PSIA-AASI Official Supplier Anon.
Last year, participants totaled 53 million vertical feet (nearly 52,000 runs) – that’s equivalent to traveling to the International Space Station 40 times!!! Let’s eclipse that amazing mark this year!

This is an irrevocable condition of entry.
