First Look at Dynastar’s Cross 88 Series
PSIA-AASI’s Official Suppliers provide member-specific pricing on high-quality ski and snowboard equipment so you can focus on teaching great lessons, growing ski and snowboard participation, and boosting your professional development.
In the Fall 2023 issue of 32 Degrees, PSIA-AASI members enjoyed a special preview of skis, snowboards, boots, and bindings specifically recommended for instructors. Here’s a first look at the men’s M-Cross 88 and women’s E-Cross 88 PSIA-AASI from Official Supplier Dynastar/Lange.
Men’s: Dynastar M-Cross 88
The M-Cross line blends the hold and carving power of a dedicated on-piste ski with the all-mountain attributes of Dynastar’s big mountain lineup – and an eco-friendly, smooth-turning Hybrid Core 2.0 that reduces wood waste. The result is an all-condition ski that is lively and stable on the frontside, with a rocker and taper profile that allows it to perform in off-piste conditions with confidence.
Lengths: 159, 168, 176, 184 cm
Dimensions: 135 – 88 – 117 mm @ 176 cm
Women’s: Dynastar E-Cross 88
With an 88-mm waist width and 14-meter turn radius, the M- and E-Cross are designed to be incredibly responsive going edge-to-edge, making the ski a major asset for teaching turning and carving technique at all levels. The Hybrid Core 2.0, which uses three directional wood layers instead of one, also results in a smooth-arcing all-terrain ski, with ample energy, stability, and liveliness.
Lengths: 150, 158, 167, 175 cm
Dimensions: 134 – 87 – 116 mm @ 167 cm
